Today is (according to advertisements and merchandisers trying to milk their worth) the most appropriate day out of our entire calendar year to express your love to another human being.

i shall not dwell on this besides stating simply that i have no valentine-

(i am neither embarrassed by this nor discontent about this)

but love has 'made' me, in many other ways-

i celebrate that then, my now long-suffering mother had met my still sharp-eyed father, and however unromantic their courtship might have been (bleary details held highly top-secret and mostly unknown to us), still, it was this 4 lettered word that held them through their youth, to commit to marriage, that morphed into companionship, and of course, 'gave birth' to me.
