somebody else's photo-

sometimes, having spent so much time shooting with others, you find you're already able to identify the unique style or kind of photos that someone takes-
it's as if you can walk past a scene or setting and immediately know that if that person were there at that exact moment, it would have been that person's shot.

It's a funny feeling,
but I like it regardless.

when it first happened I used to feel conflicted-
Having walked right into that photo, that scene, that moment,
I would feel the urge to take the photo on behalf of the person (since the person's not there), but at the same time, knowing damn well that my personal preference/style is not towards this particular type of photo or type of subject, and that if I take the shot the framing, emotion/tone of the photo would not be the same, somehow I would feel a slight awkwardness in trying to take (in my opinion) 'someone else's photo' (in the way that that 'someone else' would have taken it), it would leave me temporarily helpless and feeling silly.

To me (at least), some photos/moments,
are good enough to be quietly appreciated (though not captured on film).
-----------------------------------
things I'd always have in my bag

1. film canisters (though not necessarily film)
2. my mp3 player
3. plaster wrappers (though not necessarily plasters)
4. goldenhalf chelsea (it's light)
5. pen or highlighter or marker

I know, I'm such a slob, right?
