sometimes it's very easy to give up-

to declare that it's not worth it; to cling cloyingly to what you're familiar with; to take the path you've already taken; to stick with what/people you've always done/used/hung out with; find comfort in what you already know;

it's very easy to say

'this thing/person is not for me'

and then just uninvite that thing/person from your life.

but i always believe in second chances-
or third, fourth, fifth (chances) even;
If you haven't tried thoroughly (enough), how would you know?
it's easy to give up and say that this is making me feel handicapped now, and that it's ridiculous when i can easily go back to what i'm familiar/comfortable with, but i don't want to-
some things/people/situations just need getting used to, and

I want/need to try (more).

on the other hand,

i do believe that after thoroughly trying, giving people/things your best shot,
when you're very certain that things in general don't work out,
then it's perfectly legitimate/reasonable to revert/switch.
persistence is key but flexibility is paramount.

Don't push it,

because some things/people just cannot be forced.
-----------------------------------------------------------
I believe there is a time, place and space for everything-

maybe,

just not this,
just not here,
just not you,

just not now.
