mixed feelings really- i think i'd be happy to be back during spring (it'd be so beautiful! and i'd be able to roll around on the grass like a mad woman) but considering i'm taking leave in feb-early march and early April, i'd reckon March would be crazy hectic- i don't really want to be having training here in the day and having to rush out reports and do charting and all the project management that i should be doing in the day, at night instead (due to the wonderful time difference).
oh well.
haven't decided what to do with today yet-
should i go to brick lane? that it's so far off on the tube is a bit of a bummer.
or maybe i could spend more time exploring soho today?
or maybe i could go early to the airport to bum around and see if there are any facilities i could use-
i remember there's an experimental travel challenge that encompasses having to survive 24 hours in an airport on a nominal budget. I don't think i could do that, not in one of the worst designed airports in the world (spell it- h-e-a-t-h-r-o-w) but maybe a mini challenge of 4 hours, i could deal with that. I could take the tube early (since i'm so panaroid i'd wait for forever for the tube and then miss my flight and get stranded here) and just stroll around with my luggage in the trolley and check out what kind of freebies they have there for bored passengers in transit/awaiting takeoff.
only have 20 quid left (and 2.30 in coins, god, i hate brit-ish coins they make no sense, why is the 2p so freaking big????) so i'd better plan and spend it wisely-
if and when i'm coming back in March,
i am so going to bring more quid.
