do you want to go or not?

yes or no;

you don't need to give 12345678765434323 excuses;

'i have no money' 'i am busy no time' 'i don't know where the place is' blah blah blah

if you said 'no, i don't want to go', that would be the end of it;

no one would say an extra word, no one would question your reasoning or choice-

are you in hall or not?

yes or no;

you don't need to think of counter questions to rebut;

'don't come knocking at my door' 'why you want to ask' 'is it dinner' yada yada yada

if you said 'no, i am not in hall', that would be the end of it;

no one would pester you to ask your whereabouts or question the truth of your statement-

sometimes it's just a simple question,

and all i'm looking for is a simple answer

why don't guys seem to get it?
