read the melancholy death of oyster boy yesterday during lunch time. It happened to be sitting on the office shelf, along with other books like blink, and those useful self-help or business or market research or leadership related books. Didn't know what to think, except feel rather sad and a bit ill.

reading it made me feel like i was watching edward scissorshands again,
which is beautiful but also heart-breaking.

need a new book to occupy my mind (and my time).

it's hard to live up to expectations when they're set pretty sky high .
