a perfect normal day is spending the morning at borough/portobello market sniffing out the foodie deals, buying lunch and sitting on a grass patch and chilling, taking the tube together to shoreditch high station, walking from spitalfields market to brick lane, hanging about all the indie shops, the vintage clothes stores and flea market, having the veggie platter(halloumi burger :D) at the roadside stall for dinner, and ending off the night with the free indie band/singer gigs at Rough trade records.

i couldn't/didn't have it-

but/and so i would wish that my children have the chance to experience it, you know?

a chance to be in a place where you can easily take the train to another town near the sea to spend the weekend (brighton!!!!), a place where the streets are full of performing artists, a place where the best museums are awesome and free, a place where there a loads of indie hideouts, loads of bands, loads of non mainstream things for people to see and do-

because bras brasah/haji lane/bali lane is about as indie as you can get (here),
because Singapore is just not a place like that.
