i know that the NM module teaches me the ICT (information communication techniques/technology) is more than a tool that conveniences lives- it creates social capital via interactions, bridges gaps, complicates governance, politics, surveillance, security, BLAH BLAH
but i am still using it (mostly) to keep in touch with friends or just to buy things that aren't available or are otherwise cheaper online.
(since i have quite a major problem buying things in stores cause i am so ngeow)
i was (supposed to be) taking a (short and brief) break in between studying and look what i found-
samurai umbrella.
i so have to get this for peter sensei man.
and i know what to get for my techie-camera-loving' dad for his birthday already (though it's still quite some time away):
camera lens? oh come on... even if i sawed off my foot in the cast my insurance couldn't pay for it....

it's a cup! HAHAHA
a pseudo-lens cup.
this will be the message in the birthday card:
'dad, i'm sorry im not making enough/any money,
and all this is the best i could get you...
cute right? i wanna get one to use for myself too...
i really like window shopping online...
i could spend hours, browsing through stuff, bookmarking potentials, thinking whether other people would be interested to buy these things, whether i could organize sprees for them etc...
the internet is just really awesome,
and there's no way instore shopping can compare. bleah.
